Description
This appears to have the stuffing to allow the flavors and finish to flesh out as the wine ages though I doubt that it will ever be seductive
It is one of those rare Liracs that will age for 10-15 years
leather and tar flavors grace the palate
The rich and nicely voluminous middle weight flavors exude a bracing minerality on the refined
This should repay a few years of keeping as it will need time to unwind
The Hilt, Old Guard Chardonnay Vintage:2010 This appears to have the(55% fruit from Sanford & Benedict vineyard and 45% from Solomon Hills vineyard), Pale gold. Musky, heady aromas of yellow plum, poached pear, lemon pith and iodine. Pliant and creamy in texture, with a restrained sweetness to its deep orchard and citrus fruit flavors. Finishes spicy and long, with a smoky mineral nuance adding bite. Josh Raynolds
