This is potentially a monument in the making if it can continue to add depth as it ages and the potential to do so certainly appears to be present

Not very bordeaux – more reminiscent of some of the more ambitious Spanish reds at the moment

The color is a sensational black/purple and the nose offers gorgeously intense aromas of black plums

Good stuff here that is clearly built for the long haul

There is even more minerality and precision to the middle weight flavors though the vibrant finale displays enough dryness that I am concerned that it may not dissipate with age. As such my suggested drinking window is deliberately short. (86 89) 2017+
