Constructed of silvered bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte with blue enameled arms, joined through the quadrants by rays, the obverse overlaid by a central blue enameled medallion bearing a silvered circular oak leaf wreath overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed
