TEELING WONDERS OF WOOD WHISKEY POT STILL VIRGIN PORTUGUESE OAK SECOND EDITION IRISH 700ML Rhone Varietal - Ageing for 10 yearsTeeling doesn't tend to shy away from interesting cask experiments as its Wonders of Wood series demonstrates. The second edition takes a single pot still Irish whiskey, made with a 50 50 split of malted and unmalted barley, and pops it into casks made of virgin Portuguese oak, which is known for its high tannins. This should be boisterous, interesting stuff.
